Cabaret’s first seven shows took place in Sapņu Fabrika, a venue that was very popular at the time (currently, Zuzeum Art Centre).
The impressive Cabaret stage became a true circus arena (Cabaret Allez), with performers rising far above the ground, and quickly falling down, to give in to dancing and singing once again. The first Cabaret shows devoted much attention to lost dreams and found love, about a special perception of life: ‘plin-plin’, as they called it, a light, carefree flow of spirit, unbridled by reason. Serious people do not understand this, and free people — enjoy it. Plin-plin is a game that is lived by both.
